Instructions
Step 1: In a large pot, combine water and sorrel. Bring to a boil. Step 2: Add crushed ginger, allspice berries, cinnamon sticks, and nutmeg. Step 3: Reduce heat and simmer for 15-30 minutes. Step 4: Strain the liquid into a large pitcher. Step 5: Add herbs (cilantro, sage, thyme, rosemary, mint) and lemon juice. Step 6: Sweeten with sugar to taste.
