tsp vanilla extract

tbsp sugar

tsp cinnamon

cup unsweetened coconut flakes

Instructions
1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 2: Sift the flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl. 3: Add the butter and work it into the flour until the texture becomes like pebbly sand. 4: Mix in the sugar, coconut flakes, and raisins if using. 5: In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, and vanilla extract. 6: Gradually add it to the flour mixture until a stiff, shaggy dough forms. 7: Place about 6 portions of the dough on a baking sheet. 8: Bake for 15 minutes or until light golden brown. 9: Enjoy as a snack on its own or with tea.View original recipe
