A simple and easy pancake recipe served with a Jamaican apple and a lonely strip of bacon. The pancake batter includes all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, milk, melted butter, egg, vinegar, and vanilla extract. It's important to not over mix the batter and to let it rest before cooking. Cook until bubbles form, then flip to achieve fluffy pancakes with crispy edges.

What you need

tbsp unsalted butter

tsp vinegar

tsp vanilla extract

tsp salt
tbsp baking powder

tbsp granulated sugar
Instructions
1: Mix together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. 2: Mix in the wet ingredients: milk, melted butter, egg, vinegar, and vanilla extract. 3: Start with one cup of milk and save 1/4 cup in case you need more for desired consistency. 4: Do not over mix the batter; it’s okay to have small lumps. 5: Let the batter rest for 10 minutes. 6: Heat up a pan on medium to medium-low heat. 7: Add a couple tablespoons of oil to the pan and let it heat. 8: Pour in the batter for one or two pancakes, depending on the pan size. 9: When bubbles start to form on the top and edges crisp, it’s time to flip. 10: Adjust the heat as needed to prevent the pancakes from becoming too dark or light.View original recipe
