cup brown sugar

tbsp coarse salt

tsp black pepper

tsp chili powder

tsp smoked paprika

tsp garlic powder

tsp onion powder

tsp dry mustard
tsp dried oregano
Instructions
Step 1: Mix together the dry rub with brown sugar, coarse salt, black pepper, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, dry mustard powder, and dried oregano. Step 2: Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Step 3: Remove the membrane from the rack of ribs and clean the ribs with lemons or limes and a water rinse, then pat dry. Step 4: Smother the ribs all over with the dry rub. Step 5: Place the ribs in a foil-lined baking pan bone side down and cover tightly with foil. Step 6: Bake the ribs at 325 degrees for 2.5 hours. Step 7: If the ribs are not tender, put them back in the oven for another 15-30 minutes. Step 8: Increase the oven temperature to 375 degrees, drain the liquid from the pan, and smother the cooked ribs with BBQ sauce. Step 9: Put the ribs back in the oven uncovered for 15 minutes.
