tbsp cooking oil

tbsp ketchup

cup all purpose flour

tsp baking powder

tbsp fine cornmeal

tbsp sugar

tbsp salted butter

cup milk

cup water
Instructions
Step 1: In a pan, heat cooking oil and add chopped onion, bell peppers, garlic, scotch bonnet, and scallion. Sauté until softened. Step 2: Add corned beef and thyme sprigs to the pan, and mix well. Season with black pepper and optional all-purpose seasoning. If needed, add a little water to create sauce. Step 3: For the fried dumplings, mix flour, baking powder, salt, cornmeal, and sugar in a bowl. Step 4: Add softened butter and mix until crumbly. Gradually add milk and water to form a dough. Step 5: Divide dough into small balls and flatten them slightly. Step 6: Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the dumplings until golden brown on both sides.
