cup coconut milk

cup brown sugar

cup unsalted butter

tsp ground nutmeg

tsp ground cinnamon

tsp ground ginger

tsp ground allspice

tsp ground clove

tsp salt

tbsp vanilla extract

tbsp rose water

tsp almond extract

tbsp spiced rum

cup all purpose flour
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Step 2: Cut boniato and yellow yam into 1-inch pieces. Step 3: In a mixing bowl, combine the boniato, yellow yam, coconut milk, brown sugar, melted butter, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, cloves, salt, vanilla extract, rose water, almond extract, white rum, and all-purpose flour. Step 4: Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined. Step 5: Reserve one cup of the liquid for the soft top. Step 6: Pour the mixture into a baking dish. Step 7: Bake for about 1 hour and 10 minutes, then pour the reserved liquid on top and bake for an additional 35 minutes. Step 8: Let it cool before serving.View original recipe
