cup cassava

cup unsweetened coconut flakes

cup cornmeal

cup all purpose flour

cup brown sugar

tsp cinnamon

tsp nutmeg

tsp ground ginger

tsp salt

tbsp vanilla extract

tbsp rose water

cup coconut milk
Instructions
Step 1: Mix grated Caribbean sweet potato, cassava, coconut flakes, cornmeal, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ground ginger, salt, vanilla extract, rose water, and coconut milk until well combined. Step 2: Wrap scoops of the mixture in blanched or pre-steamed banana leaves. Step 3: Tie the wraps with kitchen twine. Step 4: Boil or steam the wraps for 45 minutes.View original recipe
