What you need

Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the meat by cutting it into bite-sized pieces. Step 2: In a large pot, add the stewing beef and salted beef with enough water to cover, and bring to a boil. Step 3: Skim off any scum that rises to the surface. Step 4: Add garlic, green seasoning, and all the chopped vegetables to the pot. Step 5: Season with pimento seeds, thyme, and scallion stalks. Step 6: Add the scotch bonnet pepper, pumpkin soup packet, and cock soup packet. Step 7: Allow the soup to simmer for at least 1.5 hours or until the meat is tender. Step 8: In another bowl, mix the dumpling ingredients and form into balls. Step 9: Add the dumplings to the soup and let them cook for an additional 15-20 minutes.
