tbsp unsalted butter

tsp salt

tsp vanilla extract

tbsp granulated sugar

cup buttermilk

cup milk

Start with one cup of milk and save 1/4 cup in case you need more. 3: Don’t over mix; it's OK if there are a few small lumps. 4: Let the batter rest for 10 minutes. 5: Heat a pan on medium to medium-low heat. 6: Add a couple tablespoons of oil to the hot pan. 7: Pour in the batter for one to two pancakes at a time to avoid overcrowding. 8: Flip the pancakes when bubbles form on the surface and the edges start to crisp.View original recipe
