tbsp hoisin sauce

tsp ginger paste
tsp garlic paste
tbsp vegetable oil

tbsp sesame oil

cup low-sodium soy sauce

cup bourbon

tbsp hoisin sauce

tbsp apple cider vinegar
tsp garlic paste

tsp ginger paste

cup brown sugar

cup water

scallion

Instructions
Step 1: Season chicken thighs with hoisin sauce, ginger paste, and garlic paste. Step 2: Sear chicken in a mix of vegetable oil and sesame oil on medium to medium-high heat for 8-10 minutes on each side. Step 3: Remove chicken from the pan, chop it up, and set aside. Step 4: In the same pan over medium heat, add the low-sodium dark soy sauce, bourbon, hoisin sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic paste, ginger paste, and brown sugar. Step 5: Mix until dissolved and adjust consistency with water if necessary. Step 6: Bring the sauce to a low simmer, then add the chicken back to the pan, incorporating it well into the sauce.
