Step 1: Mix together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Step 2: Mix in the wet ingredients: milk, melted butter, egg, vinegar, and vanilla extract. Step 3: Start with one cup of milk and save 1/4 cup in case you need more to get the batter to the desired consistency. Step 4: Let the batter rest for 10 minutes. Step 5: Heat a pan on medium to medium-low heat and add a couple tablespoons of oil. Step 6: Pour in the batter for one to two pancakes at a time, depending on the size of the pan. Step 7: When bubbles start to form on the top and the edges start to crisp, flip the pancakes. Step 8: Adjust heat as needed if the pancakes are too dark or light.
