Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Whisk dry ingredients together. Gradually add buttermilk as you mix, but don’t over mix. Once a shaggy dough is formed, pour melted butter into a 9x9 baking pan. Then pour the dough over the butter. Use a spatula to smooth it out, and then cut the dough into 9 biscuits. Bake for 20-25 minutes. (If you don’t have buttermilk on hand, use 2 tbsp of white vinegar and enough milk to equal 2 cups. Let sit for 10 minutes before adding to the mixture.)
